And Such is Life...

Life lately has been... chaotic... but, isn't that just how life goes? So, here are a few random things that we have done lately.

On Saturday, Brandon took the girls with him to Home Depot to get some items that would help him hang the Christmas lights. Oliver and I were hanging out at home, and I was thinking "wow, it's taking them a long time. I hope they are behaving". Then they came home like this:

Apparently Home Depot was having a kids workshop (which was a free craft for them). I'm so happy they decided to check it out on their way out. The girls really haven't be able to go anywhere in the last 2 weeks, so this was nice break for them. And, they made some super cute snowmen napkin holders. A bonus, they also got Brandon covered in pink and orange paint.
Oliver has been a good little man for us, but there were a few late nights where he wasn't too happy. On Sunday, Brandon decided to hold him so I could take a nap... And apparently they decided to take one too. I couldn't resist a picture.

Ironically, Melanie and Oliver woke up at the same time. So they switched places and I got a cute picture of that too.

The girls enjoyed a fun movie on the ground after dinner. I swear they don't have their fingers in their noses... but it sure looks that way. ha ha!

Last night I came into the living room and saw this:

Moments like these make me smile.

I took Oliver for his 2 week check up yesterday. He is one very happy, very healthy man.

Weight: 9 pounds, 2 ounces

Height: 21.5 inches

Head: 14 inches.

The doctor told me we probably won't have to worry about the weight on this one after a growth like that. :) It's such a difference from the experience I had with Noelle.
