Bubbles and Things that are Wet

This past weekend, we went to a friends birthday party, and I learned this fun bubble making technique. You take a water bottle, cut off the end, and then rubber band a piece of a dish cloth to it. Then you dip the dish cloth end into a pan of water and dish soap, take a deep breathe, and blow through the rim of the bottle. SO COOL!. Melanie missed this part of the party (she was a little late) so I decided to try it out with her and Noelle today. It was a hoot!

Melanie was pretty good at it. Noelle gave it a good effort, but more cute than effective. It's okay Noelle, you'll get the handle of it. But, more than anyone, I found myself blowing the bubbles... until I was light headed. The girls mostly enjoyed popping them in their hands.

After we blew all the bubbles, we watered the garden. Somehow my girls ended up with more water on them then the veggies in my garden. Melanie thought Noelle's wet hair was super fun to manipulate and create crazy styles in. Here is Noelle in her crazy hair do.

And the proud stylist!

What a fun idea. Maybe I'll go for "fun mom" tomorrow and do that with Clara.

That's awesome Melanie thinks you weigh 7 pounds. Ha!
