The Freedom to Learn

What better way to start Independence Day then (as a family) to celebrate our freedom to learn and enjoy ourselves at the Arizona Science Center.

I took a million pictures, but here are a few of the highlights.

Melanie really got in touch with knowledge... by holding a brain!

Noelle and Melanie both called their local Green Super Heros to learn about how they can save the planet.

Both of the girls rode a bike to determined the energy needed to light up a LED. Of course... they both required a little adult assistance.

To help celebrate the holiday, we watched them blow up watermelon, using liquid Nitrogen.

Here is the demonstrator, prepping the watermelon.

It's a ticking time bomb.

Ka-BOOM!

We were behind glass, which was really good, considering the watermelon flew up against the glass where the girls were standing. They thought it was SuPeR CoOl.

The digital room was super cool. I love taking pictures from the other side of this screen. It's just too much fun!

Freaky Family Picture:

Noelle is so calm, even laying on a bed of nails.

Melanie knows how to torture her daddy.

I've decided, I like this way of checking my weight... it gives me a much better weight measurement.

Now these two... they don't need to "loose" any weight. Seriously!

Both girls had so much fun, that they just couldn't keep up on the ride home.

It was a super fun morning for the whole family.
