A Dream Is a Wish...

Cinderella is currently showing at the Broadway Palms, and Thursday night was family night. We decided it was a good opportunity to take Melanie to see one of her favorite princesses in person... Cinderella!

At the Broadway Palms, they serve dinner before the show, so waiting for the show to actually start was TORTURE for my little red head.
But eventually the show was about to start and everyone was getting ready.

When intermission hit, Melanie freaked out. She did NOT want the show to be over and was begging for me to "un-pause it" so she can see Cinderella.

After the show, we met the cast. Here we are with the evil step sisters and the evil step mother.

With the Fairy Godmother...

Cinderella and Prince Christoper

The Ensemble Gals

The Ensemble Men (ironically, I ended up knowing someone IN the show. The gentlemen on the far right is Jensen Clifford, and I grew up with him, as his mom was my piano teacher for YEARS).

And finally, the King and Queen

The show was really great. I have one complaint... (prepare yourself, ha ha!). They have assigned seating, with 8 people assigned to one table. We had 3 tickets for the table. Well, apparently there was a group that had 11 people, and 5 sat at our table, 6 sat at the neighboring table. 6 of them were adults, and 5 were children.... wanna guess which 5 sat at our table??? Yep... 5 children. To be more specific, 5 girls ages 7 and younger. To say I was not impressed would be an understatement. And the staff that was serving just assumed they were ours and kept asking if they were done, if they could have certain things, etc. etc. Seriously, it was annoying. And their moms? weren't much better behaved.

Anyhow, all in all, we had a good time.
