New Year's Eve: Game Night

After the sock skating, who would have thought the day could have been even more fun? Well, it was!!! GAME NIGHT!
Melanie was definitely in the spirit for fun!

We played some gold fish (Melanie got this game for her birthday from a cousin, and I think it is too much fun! )

Then Ants in the Pants. This is a game Melanie got for her birthday and I'm convinced that it would be impossible for a 3 year old to get the ants into the pants the "correct" way. So... as you can see, Melanie is getting the job done in her own way. She still had a blast! For the record, Brandon is the Ants in the Pants champion. After several failed attempts, I too am proud to say I successfully got *1* ant into the puppy's pants.
Then it was Twister Time!

I got all tied up in knots. Don't ask how I got into this position. The mirical is that I got out of it without killing my legs. And, of course, Brandon took his sweet time spinning the wheel.

Noelle was sleeping all through out the game (she was not feeling well, fever and a yucky tummy), but once she woke up, she decided Twister was her favorite game and wanted to get in on the action!

Resolution: More games in 2011! For Sure!

Fun times. I got so excited when Clara got old enough to learn how to play "real" games with us. Both Jason and I are game people and Clara is following suit.

I don't know of an indoor activity that is more fun than sliding around on tile in socks. It never gets old. Tiring? Yes. Old? No. :)
