Yesterday was Day 9. The assignment was the organize your kids toys, or in the case of those who don't have kids, a hobby area. Well, I have kids, and their toys NEED to be organized, but, instead I decided to organize my lists. I have lists for everything, and they are all over my house. I can never find them when I need them. So, why not put them in one place?
So... here is my Home Keeping Book (it is still in the works). I stole this idea from my cousin, Marily's, blog.
And in true engineer fashion, it's all tabbed up.
I plan to organize the kid's toys this weekend. The task for Day 10 is to clean the laundry room. Introducing my messy laundry room:
Including my messy cabinets (now remember, judging is not allowed) Cabinet number 1, before.
and after!
Cabinet number 2, before:
And after!
I lowered 2 of the shelves in cabinet number 2. That was a task in it's own right. And after I had started, I was committed. ugh! Those pegs were not typical pegs. I actually had to call my husband and ask him if their was a trick to this. I think it took me longer to move two shelves then cleaning everything. Some engineer I am!And the after!

Happy Wednesday!

I think I could manage days 1-8, now, however, is when I'd probably give up. I try and try to organize Clara's toys and what we really need to do is get rid of half of them. That's the hard part; especially if she's around. :)
looks great! love the wall colour. i want to paint my laundry pink since its the only room thats all mine in my house of boys.
Great work!
Your laundry room looks pretty cheery and you have a lot of room! I like how you are using the space between washer and dryer - clever! Look super!
