Thursday was 3/14... which we celebrate as pi day (since pi is 3.14 (and then some other digits)). And what better way to celebrate pi when to eat pie (which is ironically, or most likely purposely, in the shape of a circle).
I didn't have enough time to do pie for breakfast, but we did have pie for every other meal. At lunch, I made their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches look like pies. At dinner, we had a homemade pizza pie.
As you can tell, the kids liked this pie!
For dessert, we sampled both apple and cherry pie.
a la mode! yum yum!
Pi day was awesome! We all had fun!
