Noelle

Boy I have been behind with life lately. I have so many things we have done that I haven't blogged about. So... I decided maybe, instead of events, I'd just blog about my kiddos.

Noelle has been cracking me up lately. We have a few hours a few times a week that are all about Noelle and Mommy. Sometimes we go do our grocery shopping (Noelle sits in the car basket and drives me around the store while I get the groceries). Sometimes we play in the back yard. This is Noelle's favorite activity (besides painting).

The messier she gets, the bigger the smile on her face.

We went to the park last week. Noelle has always been afraid of the slide. She has always had to have me or dad go down the slide with her. Well, I was at the park, talking with Liz (a cousin who met me at the park), and I look over, and there was Noelle... going down the slide... all by herself! NO FEAR! I am so proud of her. After that, she was up the stairs and down the slide over and over again.

It's amazing how she just decided to face that fear and go for it!
Even the straight "throw you to your death" slide.

Noelle has her own sense of style. I haven't quite figured it out yet... but it definitely fits her personality. She has literally worn her pinkalicious dress every day since Halloween, but now she gets creative with what she wears it with.

I think this ensemble is my favorite. I call it my gnome-alicious. She is wearing the pants and boots that make me think of her as my garden gnome (just missing the hat), and then a "catholic school girl" skirt, and her pinkalicious dress over it... topped off with her wings and crown. I'm in love!

Noelle's favorites:

Color: Red!

Word: Mine!

Phrase: My Turn!

Activity: Painting!

Animal: Elephant!

Noelle says:

After Noelle is done eating, I always have her put her hands up in the air and say "I love you mommy". Then I take her down and wash her. But lately, instead, she has been saying "I love you, Daddy!" and then giggle... She thinks she is so funny.

Ever since carving the pumpkins on Sunday, Noelle has been walking around saying "Daddy cut cut cut pumpkin patch. and Noelle cry... wahhh!!!".

Noelle is a chatter bug and loves to be in the center of attention. When we had the missionaries over, she was the one that had to say the prayer... and she talked to them non-stop (though I'm not sure they understood her). Noelle now participates in family scripture study by repeating a verse back. She gets really excited about this. She likes to do everything by herself, if possible. Noelle is very independent.

I just love Ms. Noelle.
