The Castle

Yesterday we met up with our cousins, Liz, Morgan, and Ethan at the Arizona Museum for Youth to have some fun indoors. When we got there, we went to the little kids area (because the exhibits are currently being changed and nothing else is really open). And viola! There was a castle all built up from the large foam block. Melanie and Noelle were in 7th Heaven! They were all smiles and giggles. Morgan and Liz were in the ladies room and had not yet seen the fun castle.

Have you ever seen two girls so happy?
Okay, this is where I become a bad mom. Please don't report me, but I couldn't help myself...

When Morgan came out of the bathroom, she was super excited about the castle too... but for a different reason. Blocks were meant to be knocked over, right? And that is exactly what she did! She knocked over the castle. Look at these girls faces. I know I should have been comforting them, but I couldn't help but get a picture in first. They were balling!

But, there is a happy ending... block castles CAN be rebuilt! And everyone helped out. And once it was rebuilt, they all helped knocking it over!

Did they take out the tiny one play area? Isn't that usually where the castle is?

What can I say, my daughter has to knock everything down that is standing (including Ethan).
